Myofascial Release, Sport Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Fascial Stretch TherapyTM are highly effective approaches to shorten recovery time from gruelling workouts, rehabilitate and re-educate injured and sore tissue and decrease the effects of stress on the mind body due to over exertion. A typical session involves detailed and specific deep tissue and myofascial release on restricted tissues followed by stretching and active movements to engage and re-awaken dormant or injured tissue.

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of the 'fascial fabric'. Each session uses a multitude of Myofascial Release techniques and movement therapy. I promote independence through education in proper body mechanics and movement, self treatment instruction, enhancement of strength, improved flexibility, and postural and movement awareness. Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin without oils or lotions. This enables the accuracy to detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST)TM is a unique, complete and complementary system of table-based, assisted stretching, focusing on the fascia as the key element in achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief. Traction combined with PNF opens joint capsules where most restriction of ROM lays, and decompresses the continuities of muscles, bones and connective tissues.
Deep Tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). Deep tissue massage reduces stress hormone levels and heart rate while boosting mood and relaxation by triggering the release of oxytocin and serotonin.

Life StretchTM is a functional mobility and stretch class or individual program that progresses through entire chains of neuro-myofascia. Life Stretch starts standing and proceeds with movements that are an assessment of the body. Movements progress and smoothly transition to the mat for a variety of flowing and constantly moving pain-free mobilizations and stretches. These movements have a logical flow, mobilizing joints and shorter chains with smaller muscles and fascia and progress to longer chains of multiple joints and larger muscles and fascia.
